Our studio

Moss & Petals is a floral design studio focused on thoughtful, garden‑inspired arrangements with a modern point of view.

Founded in 2019, the studio grew from a small Pike Place Market stall into a dedicated space in downtown Seattle. Our team is led by head designer Olivia Hart, whose background in interior design informs our calm, architectural approach to flowers.

We prioritize local product, working closely with growers across Washington to highlight the character of each season—daffodils and hellebores in early spring, garden roses in summer, and textured foliage and berries in autumn.

Design approach

Our work leans toward asymmetrical, natural compositions that feel like they could have grown that way. We aim for arrangements that age gracefully in the home, with interesting textures and a clear focal point rather than dense, uniform blocks of color.

We keep a limited menu online so we can focus on quality, but customize each order within that framework. For weddings and events, every design is built from a tailored palette, reference images, and an in‑depth consultation.

Sustainability

We minimize floral foam, reuse and recycle vessels where possible, and favor local stems to reduce transportation impact. Green waste is composted through city programs, and we select mechanics that allow designs to be disassembled and reused.

Our goal is to create work that respects both the materials and the people who grow them, keeping flowers seasonal whenever we can.
